So as 2010 closes, I personally want to wish all of you Happy Holidays.

Have you given any thought to your New Years Resolution?

Try this: Find a power verse that is special to you, and place it in you wallet
somewhere you will see it when you open your wallet. Use this as a reminder of

So, how many of us want to be the type of christian that satan can’t stand?

I do too. The first thing we must all realise is that the devil is not some big
bad scary thing, but an annoyance, kinda like a fly or a mosquito at a picnic.
He wants nothing more to distract you from your goal.

We cannot allow him to scare us or make us feel like we are nothing, especially
since Jesus has given us ALL the power. The devil only has power over what
we allow him to. So how much power should we give him? NONE!

I urge you to remind the devil, he has no power over you and you are washed in
the blood of Jesus,and that one day we will ultimately see him destroyed.
It’s time to take back what he has stolen and show our power over him.

Why? Cause that’s how we roll!

1. To take charge of this post and all government property in view.
Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV) (Power extended to new disciples)
Matthew 28:18-20 (King James Version)
18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

2. To walk my post in a military manner, keeping always on the alert, and observing everything that takes place within sight or hearing.
3.
4. Mark 13:3333 Take ye heed , watch and pray : for ye know not when the time is . 34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch . 35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh , at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping . 37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch

5. To report all violations of orders I am instructed to enforce.

Matthew 18:15-22 (King James Version)
15Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
16But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
17And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
18Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
19Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
20For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
21Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

6. To repeat all calls from posts more distant from the guard house than my own.
2 Timothy 4
1I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

7. To quit my post only when properly relieved.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

8. To receive, obey and pass on to the sentry who relieves me, all orders from the Commanding Officer, Command Duty Officer, Officer of the Deck, and Officers and Petty Officers of the Watch only.
Philemon 1
1Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer,
2And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:
3Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
4I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,
5Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;
6That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
7For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.

9. To talk to no one except in the line of duty.
Ephesians 4:26-29 (King James Version)
26Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27Neither give place to the devil.
28Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

10. To give the alarm in case of fire or disorder.
Joel 2
1Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand

11. To call the Officer of the Deck in any case not covered by instructions.
1 Thess 5:17 17Pray without ceasing.

12. To salute all officers and all colors and standards not cased.

Romans 16:16 16Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.

13. To be especially watchful at night, and, during the time for challenging, to challenge all persons on or near my post and to allow no one to pass without proper authority.

1 Peter 5:8 xBe sober, ybe vigilant; because your adversary zthe devil, aas a roaring lion, bwalketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 cWhom resist dstedfast in the faith, knowing that ethe same afflictions fare accomplished in your gbrethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, hwho hath called us unto ihis eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered ka while, lmake you perfect, mstablish, strengthen, nsettle you.

So where do you stand in eternity? Just how many crowns will you be able to throw at Jesus’ feet? Is your Jesus showing or are ya hiding it? When you enter into the joy of the Lord, how many people are you bringing with you, and how many people have you neglected to tell about Him because of some fear or because of the location? Do your friends truly know you are a christian? Something to ponder.

Earlier this week, I received an email from a young man wanting to know
why he was haunted by the devil, and why when he tried to draw close
to God the devil fought harder. I began to wonder if anyone else on this
site felt the same way. So today, I want to share with you why some
devils seem harder to fight than others.

The devil’s greatest tool is discouragement, if he can get a person discouraged,
he can cause them to give upon God, and to doubt in God. It’s not that he is bigger
than God, it’s that God maybe waiting on you to rebuke the devil. Look at Job, satan
tested him and God’s glory shone through in the end. We must stand up and pray up to
fight these spirits. Let me ask you something, you say that when you are feeling good
and have gotten something from God the devil turns up the heat…why?
Because he knows he is in danger of losing any power he has over you!
You need to pray and fast and rebuke the devil and tell him to get gone!

Mark 9:17And one of the multitude answered and said, Master,
I have brought unto
thee my son,
which hath a dumb spirit;
18And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth,
and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that
they should cast him out; and they could not.
19He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall
I be with you?
how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.

20And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him,
straightway the spirit tare him;
and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.

21And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him?
And he said, Of a child.

22And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him:
but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.

23Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe,
all things are possible to him that believeth.

24And straightway the father of the child cried out,
and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

25When Jesus saw that the people came running together,
he rebuked the foul spirit,
saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him,
and enter no more into him.

26And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him:
and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.

27But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.

28And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately,
Why could not we cast him out?

29And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but
by prayer and fasting.

Truths about the devil:

1. He is a fallen angel. He is not like God who is Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent.
2. He listens for negativity in our lips, that’s where he draws his power
3. He isn’t some big huge thing nor does he run around with horns and a pitchfork,
he appears almost friendly.
4. His power was stripped when he left heaven.

God created Lucifer, who is now Satan.
Read Ezekiel 28:13-19.
- Satan was created as a perfect Guardian Angel. 28:14
- Lucifer was the highest ranking creature in God’s creation.
- He was the one nearest the throne of God. In all his beauty he continually praised God.
2 Corinthians 11:14 – Satan can disguise himself as an Angel of light.

Ezekiel 28:13-19: Satan’s Origin
Genesis 3:1-6: Satan’s First Temptation
Isaiah 14: Satan’s Fall From Heaven
Job 1:6-13: Many Facts About Satan’s Limitations
Matthew 4:1-10: Satan Tempts Jesus Christ
Revelation 20:1-3, 10: Satan’s Eternal Punishment

There has not always been a devil nor will there always be one
Pray up, fast, and put on the full armor of God.

I pray for all of us that we can trust God and know he IS all powerful!

In my life I have had many friends. Some have always been there and some
have only come around when something is needed, others, have come into my
life at certain points, and have left after a point in time.

We should love our friends but we should always be reminded to never put
full faith in them. I am not saying not to trust people, but never lose
sight of that they are man. Even Peter,one of the greatest men of God,
faltered when asked if he knew Jesus, and Job’s friends even tried to make
him curse God, and accused him of some grevious sin.

The point is this, even though our friends may seem great we should always
know that they aren’t God and God is the only person we should put our
faith, hope, and trust in. If a friend does betray or hurt us though, we are
to forgive them as we can never be fully forgiven unless we forgive.

Father, I ask that you would allow us to keep our sight on you alone,
Lord, we thank you for friends, but realise they are just man. If a
friend does hurt us please give us the heart to forgive them as you
forgive us. Amen

I am working on an additional part of the site that will allow more interation between us all, called HQ. I will have it up asap. Also, Please reregister for the forums, I had a database glitch that I had to rebuild the database over, so go reregister!

2 Corinthians 4:For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

11For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

12So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

Ever feel like you are down and out?

We all do!

Even Paul here is saying the truth that we all know we are weak but he is strong and we need to lean on him.

Below is a video from the 1992 Olympics, where Derek Redmond, who was picked to win got hurt, his dreams were shattered.

Derek gets off to a good start. Coming around the first bend in the track, tragedy struck as Derek’s hamstring went. Initially he thought he had been shot because the pain was so great. His leg would not function. London’s The Guardian newspaper quoted him, “Everything I had worked for was finished. I hated everybody. I hated the world. I hated hamstrings. I hated it all. I felt so bitter that I was injured again. I told myself I had to finish. I kept hopping round. Then, with 100 metres to go, I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was my old man.”

Derek hopped on one leg for half a lap before his father came to his aid. Together they finished the race arm-in-arm to a standing ovation. Now, some 17 years after the race, not many people remember who won that semi-final race or who even won the final. But, many still remember Derek Redmond.

So what is this saying?

No matter what the Lord never leaves us nor forsakes us, when we feel like all hope is lost he is there to help us cross the finish line!

9 Out of 10 People Say What?

Did you check out the AOL survey last week? If not,
you missed a pretty interesting set of statistics:
What is the key to getting into heaven?

* Living a good life. 65.5%
* Having connections to someone at the top. 26.7%
* Helping old ladies cross the street. 2.7%
* Slipping St. Peter $20.00. 1.9%
* Having a strong letter of reference. 0.5%
* Making a deal with the devil. 1.2%
* Telling a really good lie. 0.5%

Total votes 121,836
Are you going to heaven?

* Yes. 89.8%
* No. 10.2%

Total votes 143,309

(Source: www.aol.com)

Most of the answers didn’t surprise me, but did you
notice how many more people responded to the
second question (are you going to heaven?) as opposed
to the first? 21,473 more folks opted to answer that
simple question as opposed to taking time to think
about the first one.

Apparently, nearly 9 out of 10 people believe they
are going to heaven, but many of them don’t know
and/or don’t care why.

I believe Satan’s goal is to take as many people as
possible into hell with him. To do so, he doesn’t need
to get anyone to convert to Satanism; he only needs to
slightly distort the truth. This survey is a case in point:
in one fell swoop he has 90% of Americans feeling good
about themselves while at the same time are destined
for eternal separation from God.

If these figures aren’t a wake-up call to our responsibility
to share the good news of Jesus, I don’t know what would be.
The devil has this country convinced that the ‘do good gospel’
gets them into heaven, and we are the only ones who can help
them remove the blinders and see the Light of the world.

My suggestion would be to do a little survey in your
corner of the world. Perhaps use this one, or
make up new questions. The point is: get people talking
about their perspective on heaven/hell. My guess is that
most people you talk to will end up responding similar
to the survey: i.e. good works get me into heaven.
Here are a few verses you can use as discussion points:

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)

God saved you by his special favor when you believed.
And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.
Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have
done, so none of us can boast about it. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done,
but because of his mercy. He saved us through the
washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:5)

There is salvation in no one else! There is no
other name in all of heaven for people to call on to
save them. (Acts 4:12)

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the
murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice
magic arts, the idolaters and all liars–their place will be
in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second
death. (Revelation 21:8)

Evidently, God’s survey would come out very different:
one out of every one goes to hell without Christ!
